What a Scissor Lift Is For
A scissor lift goes straight up and comes straight back down, and it does that better and more cheaply than anything else. For ceiling work, lighting, air conditioning, painting and stock picking over a flat, solid floor, it is the machine that gets the most work done per day.
Our range runs from 8 m to 14 m of working height with platform loads of 230 kg to 450 kg. When the work sits behind an obstacle or out over something, you need a boom: articulated to go up and over, telescopic for straight line distance.

Scissor Lift Features
Easy to operate
The lift runs on joysticks, one on the platform and one on the base, both proportional for lifting and driving, so movements stay smooth. The platform also carries an AC outlet box for power tools, which saves running extension cords up to the work.
Safety systems
Dual flashing lights and an audible alarm tell everyone nearby that the lift is in operation. The platform rail is self locking, and there are emergency stop buttons on both the platform and the chassis.
Ease of maintenance
Batteries and main components sit on swing-out trays, so a technician has room to work. When something goes wrong, a display shows the diagnostic code rather than leaving the fault to be guessed at.
Platform extension
The extension deck reaches 90 cm further than a fixed platform. When an obstacle stops the base getting close enough to the wall, you extend the deck and reach the work anyway.

How high do your scissor lifts reach?
The SC08EN works to 8 m, the SC10E and SC10EN work to 10 m and the SC14E works to 14 m. Platform load is 380 kg on the SC08EN, 450 kg on the SC10E, 320 kg on the SC14E and 230 kg on the SC10EN.
What batteries do the scissor lifts use?
Deep cycle lead acid, 4 x 6V 232Ah. They are robust and reliable, and they need regular preventive maintenance including topping up with water. Our boom lifts run on lithium instead.
Can a scissor lift work outdoors?
Yes, on hard, level ground such as concrete or asphalt. A scissor lift is not a rough terrain machine: if the ground is uneven or unpaved, a boom lift on four wheel drive is the right choice.
What is the platform extension for?
It reaches an extra 90 cm beyond the platform. When an obstacle keeps the base away from the wall, the extension deck closes the gap instead of forcing you to reposition the machine.
Do you rent this equipment as well as sell it?
Yes. We rent across the Dominican Republic for short projects and long term contracts, and we deliver to your site. Send us your dates and we will confirm availability with the quote.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Equipment can be financed in US dollars through Banco Popular Dominicano over 6, 12 or 24 months with a 15% downpayment. We prepare the quote and submit it to the bank on your behalf.
