Do you deliver E-Bikes to the whole of Puerto Plata?
Yes, we can deliver our E-Bikes everywhere in Puerto Plata based on the delivery address of your rental order.
Does Eco Planeta give E-Bike rental discounts?
Yes, your rental discounts are automatically calculated when booking online on our website based on the amount of days you are renting. Plus from time to time we have discount codes that are valid for a limited time and add extra discount during checkout.
Am I allowed to use the E-Bike on the beach?
No, never use our E-Bikes on the beach. It can damage the E-Bike and lead to high repair costs charged to the renter.
What is included in the rental?
You will receive the E-Bike with a Chain Lock and a charging cable.
What is the range of the E-Bike?
The range of the E-Bike is roughly 50 Kilometers depending on speed on the number of persons on the bike and if you peddle or not.
What is the top speed of the E-Bikes?
The topspeed of our ebikes is capped at 30 Kph.
Can I use the E-bike without pedaling?
Yes, you can use the throttle button and the E-Bike will move without pedaling turning the E-Bike essentially in a moped!
How can I charge the battery?
Every E-Bike is delivered with Charging Cable. It works just like charging your smart phone.
What should I do if I get a flat tire, the battery dies, or I have another issue during my ride?
You can contact us via phone, email or whatsapp with your issue and send one of our experienced technicians to fix your E-Bike as soon as possible. And if fixing is not possible quickly then we replace the E-Bike. Our Puerto Plata team is ready to assist you!
How do I lock the E-bike?
Every E-bike is delivered with a chainlock. Make sure to always use the chainlock to chain the E-Bike to a static object, like a lamppost or fence, when you park the E-Bike.
How many people are allowed on your E-bikes?
We have two types of E-Bikes, one type carries one person and a second type carries two persons. Never carry more people than the type of E-Bike you rented can handle. It can lead to damages and it repair costs are charged to the renter.
