Free delivery and pickup

Our Cap Cana store is inside the gates at the Boulevard Fishing Lodge, so delivery, pickup and any help you need during the rental are minutes away.

Discounts that grow with the rental

The longer you rent, the lower the daily rate. The discount is applied automatically when you book online, and discount codes stack on top when we are running them.

Pedal assist or throttle

Pedal when you want the exercise and use the throttle when you do not. The same bike does both, so nobody in the group gets left behind on a hill.

50 km of range

A full charge covers roughly 50 kilometres, which is more than a day of riding for most guests. Recharging is a normal wall outlet and the cable in the box.

Chain lock and charger included

Every rental comes with a chain lock and a charging cable, so you can park the bike safely and top it up overnight without buying anything extra.

A local team behind the bike

Our technicians are in Cap Cana, not at the end of a call centre queue. If something goes wrong we fix the bike, and if we cannot fix it quickly we replace it.

Do you deliver e-bikes to the whole of Cap Cana?

Yes. Our store sits at the Boulevard Fishing Lodge inside Cap Cana, so delivery and pickup anywhere in Cap Cana is quick. Give us the address and your preferred time when you book.

Does Eco Planeta give e-bike rental discounts?

Yes. Your discount is calculated automatically when you book online, based on the number of days you rent: the longer the rental, the bigger the discount. We also publish discount codes from time to time that add an extra discount at checkout.

What is included in the rental?

The e-bike, a chain lock and a charging cable. Delivery and pickup are included as well.

Where am I allowed to ride the e-bike?

Inside a Cap Cana project you can ride on the normal road. Between projects you have to use the golf cart path.

Am I allowed to use the e-bike on the beach?

No. Never ride our e-bikes on the beach. Sand and salt water damage the bike, and the repair cost is charged to the renter.

What is the range of the e-bike?

Roughly 50 kilometres. The exact range depends on your speed, how many people are on the bike and whether you pedal along.

What is the top speed of the e-bikes?

The top speed of our e-bikes is capped at 30 km/h.

Can I use the e-bike without pedalling?

Yes. Use the throttle button and the e-bike moves without pedalling, which makes it behave much like a moped.

How can I charge the battery?

Every e-bike is delivered with a charging cable that plugs into a normal outlet. It works just like charging your phone.

How many people are allowed on your e-bikes?

We have two types of e-bike: one carries a single rider and the other carries two. Never carry more people than the bike you rented is built for, because any damage that results is charged to the renter.

How do I lock the e-bike?

Every e-bike comes with a chain lock. Always chain the bike to something fixed, such as a lamppost or a fence, when you park it.

What should I do if I get a flat tire, the battery dies or I have another problem during my ride?

Contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp at +1 829-954-1574. We send one of our experienced technicians to fix the e-bike as soon as possible, and if a quick repair is not possible we replace the bike. Our Cap Cana team is ready to help.

Riding an E-Bike in Cap Cana

Cap Cana is built around long boulevards, a marina and a string of separate residential projects, which makes it close to ideal for an e-bike. Juanillo Beach, the marina restaurants, Punta Espada and the Scape Park entrance are all a comfortable ride apart, and the roads inside the projects are quiet enough to enjoy.

The rule worth remembering: inside a project you ride on the road, and between projects you use the golf cart path. Security at the gates is used to guests on bikes, so carry your rental agreement and ride with lights on after dark. Ours are LED units that run off the main battery, so there is nothing to charge separately.
