What an Articulated Boom Lift Is For
An articulated boom lift has a jointed arm, which is the whole point of it. The knuckle lets the platform go up, over and back down again, so the operator can clear an obstacle and still reach the work: over a machine on a plant floor, past a canopy on a hotel facade, or into a gap a straight boom cannot enter.
That flexibility, plus a compact footprint and a tight turning radius, is what makes it the usual choice for maintenance, installation and inspection work. If the reach you need is a straight line out or straight up, a telescopic boom lift goes further for the money, and for repetitive vertical work over a flat floor a scissor lift is cheaper and faster to set up.

How high do your articulated boom lifts reach?
Three models: the NAB11EJ at 11.3 m, the NAB16EJ at 15.8 m and the NAB22EJ at 22.5 m maximum working height. Platform load is 200 kg on the NAB11EJ and 230 kg on the other two.
When should I choose articulated over telescopic?
Choose articulated when something is in the way. The knuckle lets you go up and over an obstacle and come back down onto the work. Choose telescopic when the reach is a clear straight line and you need maximum distance.
Can an articulated boom lift work indoors?
Yes. These machines are electric, so there are no exhaust fumes, and they run quietly enough for hospitals, schools and shopping centres. The limit indoors is usually floor loading and door height rather than the machine itself.
What maintenance does an electric boom lift need?
No oil changes, no fuel filters and no battery watering, because the batteries are lithium. Scheduled service covers the hydraulics, the boom structure, the controls and the tyres, and our mobile technicians carry it out on your site.
Do you rent this equipment as well as sell it?
Yes. We rent across the Dominican Republic for short projects and long term contracts, and we deliver to your site. Send us your dates and we will confirm availability with the quote.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Equipment can be financed in US dollars through Banco Popular Dominicano over 6, 12 or 24 months with a 15% downpayment. We prepare the quote and submit it to the bank on your behalf.
