Boom Lift, Scissor Lift and Telehandler Service in the Dominican Republic

A manlift is the one machine on a site where a fault is not an inconvenience but a fall. A forklift with a slow hydraulic cylinder lifts a pallet slowly. A boom lift with the same fault drifts down with a person in the basket. That is why the service schedule on a manlift matters more than on anything else in the fleet, and why manufacturers require an annual inspection on top of the operator's daily pre-start checks.

Most of what goes wrong is predictable. Hydraulic hoses harden in the sun and weep at the fittings. Pins and bushings in the boom and the scissor stack wear and start to knock. Tilt sensors, limit switches and load cells drift out of calibration. Lead acid batteries on the scissor lifts lose water in the heat, and a charger that is quietly failing kills a battery pack faster than hard use does. Our technicians handle those jobs on your site, at the interval the hours on your machine call for.

When something does break, we come to the machine. Behind the technicians is the largest stock of electric vehicle and material handling parts in the country, so the usual repairs are done on the visit rather than after an import.

Why Service Your Manlift with Eco Planeta

We sell and rent the same boom lifts, scissor lifts and telehandlers we service, so the machine is not a stranger when the technician arrives.

We come to the site

Service visits and most repairs happen where the machine works: the construction site, the warehouse, the hotel or the plant. No low loader to book and no boom lift missing from the job while it sits at a depot.

Safety systems, checked and documented

Tilt alarms, load sensing, limit switches, emergency lowering, guardrails and gates are tested on every visit, and you get a written record. That is what your site safety plan and your insurer want to see.

Hydraulics and structure

Cylinders, hoses, pumps, valves, pins, bushings and the boom or scissor stack itself. We carry the seals and hoses the common repairs need, and we inspect the structure for the cracks and wear that turn into a failure.

Battery and charger care

The boom lifts run on lithium and the scissor lifts on deep cycle lead acid. We check state of health, charger output and, on lead acid machines, water levels and terminals at every service, because that is where most electric manlift faults begin.

Five stores, one country

Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo. A technician and a parts counter are within reach of every resort zone, free zone and city in the country.

Warranty work handled here

Noblelift machines bought from us carry a one year warranty, and warranty repairs go through our own workshop. There is no distributor abroad to chase and no waiting for someone else to approve the job.

How a Service Visit Works

From your message to a machine back at height.

  1. 1

Send us the machine and the symptom

Make, model and serial number from the plate, the hours on the meter, and what the machine is doing or not doing. A short video of a platform that lifts slowly or a fault code on the display tells us more than a paragraph.

  2. 2

    We quote the visit

You get a price for the labour and for any parts we expect to need, plus a date. Because the common hydraulic, electrical and battery parts are in stock, the date is usually close.

  3. 3

A technician works on your site

The technician arrives with the seals, hoses, sensors and parts the job calls for and works where the machine lives. Anything that genuinely needs a workshop, such as a boom section or a chassis repair, we take away and bring back.

  4. 4

You get a report and a next date

After the visit you know what was done, what was found and when the next service or inspection is due, so the machine stops surprising you and the paperwork is there when someone asks for it.

Service Plans, Inspections and Breakdown Repairs

A contractor with two scissor lifts, an articulated boom and a telehandler spread across three sites has four machines, four service intervals and four inspection dates. Nobody on the site team is going to track that, and they should not have to. That is what a plan is for.

Scheduled maintenance plan

A fixed number of visits per year per machine at a fixed price, with the interval set by how many hours the machine actually runs. Each visit covers the hydraulic system and cylinders, the boom or scissor structure, pins and bushings, the platform, guardrails and gate, the drive and steering, tires, the batteries and charger, the control system and every safety device, plus a function test through the full range of motion. Parts and repairs found on the visit are quoted separately and approved by you before we start.

Annual inspection

Manufacturers require a thorough inspection of every manlift at least once a year, separate from routine service. We carry it out against the manufacturer's checklist, correct what we find, and give you the signed record for your safety file. If you run several machines we schedule the inspections together.

One-off service

A single visit with the same checklist, for a machine that has not been serviced in a while or one you have just bought used and want looked at before anyone goes up in it.

Breakdown repair

The platform will not lift, the boom drifts, the display shows a fault code, the machine will not charge. Send us the model and the symptom and we quote a repair. If you are already on a plan, we already know the machine.

Repairs We Carry Out

These are the jobs that come through most often on boom lifts, scissor lifts and telehandlers.

Hydraulics

Leaking lift, slew and extension cylinders, cylinder reseals, hose and fitting replacement, pump and motor faults, control valve and solenoid replacement, holding valve faults that let a platform drift, and machines that lift slowly or not at all.

Boom and scissor structure

Worn pins and bushings, boom wear pads, slew ring and turntable play, scissor stack rollers and slide blocks, platform rotator and jib faults, and the cracks and deformation an inspection is meant to catch before they become a failure.

Batteries and charging

Lithium battery diagnosis and battery management faults on the boom lifts, lead acid watering, terminal corrosion and battery replacement on the scissor lifts, charger repair and replacement, and machines that will not take a full charge or die halfway through a shift.

Drive, steering and tires

Drive motor and controller faults, wheel motors and brakes, steering cylinders and linkages, four wheel drive and axle faults on the telescopic boom and the telehandler, and tire replacement including solid and foam filled tires.

Controls and safety systems

Platform and ground control boxes, joysticks, tilt sensors and alarms, load sensing and overload cut-outs, limit switches, emergency stop and emergency lowering, horn and beacon, guardrails and gates, and the fault codes that lock a machine out until the cause is found.

Telehandler engine and transmission

Cummins diesel servicing, filters and fluids, cooling system, transmission and axle service, and the electrical and hydraulic faults that a telehandler shares with the boom lifts.

Machines and Brands We Service

We are the Noblelift dealer for the Dominican Republic, so every model we sell is fully supported here: the NTB28EJ-LI telescopic boom lift, the NAB11EJ, NAB16EJ and NAB22EJ articulated boom lifts, the SC08EN, SC10E and SC10EN scissor lifts and the FTH4007 4Z telehandler.

We also work on manlifts from other manufacturers. Whether we can take one on depends on the make, the model and whether parts can be sourced, so send us the model and serial number and we will tell you plainly before you commit.

The same technicians maintain the rest of our range: forklifts, cleaning equipment and golf carts. If you run several types on one site, one visit can cover all of them.

Other Equipment We Service

One technician, one visit, one report. These ranges are covered by the same team and the same parts warehouse.

Manlift Maintenance FAQ

How often should a boom lift or scissor lift be serviced?

Go by hours and by use, not by the calendar. A boom lift working two shifts on a construction site is doing many times the work of a scissor lift that changes light bulbs in a hotel once a week. The operator's daily pre-start check covers the basics. The technician visit covers the rest, and the annual inspection is a separate, more thorough job. Tell us the hours and we propose an interval.

Does a manlift need an annual inspection?

Yes. Manufacturers require a thorough inspection of every manlift at least once a year, separate from routine service, and most site safety plans and insurers ask to see the record. We carry it out against the manufacturer's checklist and give you the signed report.

Why does my boom drift down when it is stopped?

Usually a holding valve or a cylinder seal that is letting oil past, sometimes a control valve. It is a safety fault, not a nuisance: take the machine out of service and send us the model and the symptom. It is a normal repair and the parts are usually in stock.

Why is my scissor lift slow or refusing to lift?

On a lead acid scissor lift, start with the batteries: low water, corroded terminals or a pack that is simply tired. After that, a tilt alarm on uneven ground, an overload cut-out, a low hydraulic oil level or a pump fault. All of it is a normal service visit.

Do you service manlifts you did not sell?

In most cases, yes. We are set up around Noblelift, but the technicians regularly work on boom lifts, scissor lifts and telehandlers from other brands. Send us the make, model and serial number and we will confirm what we can cover and whether the parts are available before anything is booked.

Do you come to us, or do we bring the machine in?

We come to you. Service, inspections and most repairs are done on your site. If a job needs a workshop, such as a boom section or a chassis repair, we collect the machine and return it when it is finished.

Do you service the batteries and the charger?

Yes, at every visit. On the lithium boom lifts that means state of health and the battery management system. On the lead acid scissor lifts it means water levels, terminals and a capacity check. The charger is tested as well, because a charger that is failing quietly ruins a battery pack faster than hard use does.

What does a manlift service plan cost?

It depends on the number of machines, the models, the hours they run and where they are, so there is no single price. Send us the list of machines and their locations and we come back with a fixed price per machine per year, inspections included.

How quickly can you repair a machine?

For hydraulic seals, hoses, sensors, batteries and the common faults, on the first visit, because those parts are in stock. If a component has to come from the manufacturer, you get the expected date on the quote before you approve the work.

Can I rent a manlift while mine is being repaired?

Ask when you report the fault. We run our own rental fleet, and if a suitable machine is free we quote it alongside the repair and deliver it so the work at height carries on.

Do you supply the parts on their own?

Yes. Batteries, chargers, cylinders, hoses, sensors, control boxes and the rest can be bought without a service visit and fitted by your own team. See manlift spare parts for what we stock.

Which areas do you cover?

All of the Dominican Republic. Technicians work out of our stores in Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo, which puts the eastern resort belt, the capital, Santiago, La Romana and the north coast within reach.
