Utility Golf Cart Rental for Business
Eco Planeta rents electric utility golf carts to resorts, industrial companies, hospitals and ports across the Dominican Republic. One cargo cart for a three week refit, a fleet of people movers for the high season, or twenty vehicles on a multi year contract: the rate covers the vehicle, its preventive maintenance and Eco Planeta IQ fleet tracking, so the only thing your team does is drive.
Every rental is delivered from the nearest of our five stores, in Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo, and serviced on your site by our own technicians. When the contract ends we collect the vehicles, or you extend, or you buy them.
The rental fleet draws on the same 60+ model range we sell: two to six seat people movers, multi-passenger shuttles, cargo boxes, flat beds, refrigerated units and hospitality builds such as room service and laundry carts. Full specifications for every model are on the utility golf carts page.
Why Eco Planeta
Why rent your utility golf carts from Eco Planeta?
A rental is only as good as the company that keeps it running. Ours has sold, rented and serviced electric vehicles in the Dominican Republic since 2011.
Short Term or Long Term
One week or three years.
Short term rental covers a peak season, an event, a renovation or a vehicle that is out of service. Long term rental gives you a fleet at a fixed monthly rate without buying it, with the option to add or swap vehicles as the operation changes. Longer terms carry a lower effective monthly rate, and we quote both so you can compare.
Maintenance Included
The fleet is our problem, not yours.
Preventive maintenance is part of the rate, not an extra. Our technicians work through your fleet on site on a fixed schedule: batteries, brakes, tires, lights, bolts and wiring, so small faults are caught before they park a vehicle. If something does break, the same team repairs it where it stands, and because we hold the largest spare parts inventory for electric vehicles in the country, the part is almost always in stock.
Included, Not Optional
Every rental vehicle arrives connected.
Eco Planeta IQ is installed on every rental unit and the subscription is part of the rate. Live GPS shows where each vehicle is, geofences alert you when one leaves the property, and battery voltage, trip history and odometer readings tell you which units are working and which are standing idle. On the 51.2V models, such as the ECO Cross, ECO Track and Denago carts, your fleet manager also issues digital keys to the drivers who should have them and revokes them the day someone leaves.
Every Use Case
One job, one right vehicle.
Guest and staff transport, housekeeping, food and beverage, grounds and landscaping, security patrol, internal logistics between warehouses, moving patients and supplies across a hospital campus, running a port terminal. The rental fleet draws on the widest range of electric utility vehicles in the Dominican Republic, from two seat carts to 23 passenger shuttles, cargo boxes, flat beds and refrigerated units. You describe the work. We specify the vehicle.
Five Locations
Delivered and serviced nationwide.
Stores in Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo put a technician and a parts counter within reach of every resort zone, free zone, hospital and port in the country. We deliver from the closest store, service on your site for the length of the contract, and collect when it ends. There is no transport to arrange and no vehicle left on your hands.
No Capital Outlay
Operating budget, not capital plan.
Rental keeps the fleet out of your capital plan and turns it into a predictable monthly cost that already includes maintenance, parts and tracking. No depreciation, no resale to arrange, no workshop of your own to staff. If at any point you would rather own the vehicles, we sell the same models and can arrange financing through Banco Popular Dominicano.
How a Rental Works
From first message to a fleet in service, and what happens after.
- 1
Tell us about the operation
Send us the site, the work the vehicles will do, how many you need and for how long. If you are not sure which model fits, describe the job and the terrain and we will propose one.
- 2
We specify and quote
You receive a written quote per vehicle and per term, with delivery, preventive maintenance and Eco Planeta IQ included and anything excluded stated plainly. For long term contracts we quote several terms so you can compare the monthly rate.
- 3
Delivery and handover
We deliver from the nearest store, set up IQ with your fleet manager and, on the 51.2V models, issue digital keys to your drivers. Our technician walks your team through charging and daily checks before leaving.
- 4
We keep the fleet running
Preventive maintenance happens on your site on the agreed schedule, and breakdowns are repaired where the vehicle stands by the same technicians. Because the part is almost always in stock, most repairs are done the same day or the next.
- 5
Return, extend or buy
At the end of the term we collect the vehicles, or you extend the contract, add units, or buy the vehicles you have been running. Nothing is decided until you decide it.
The Rental Fleet
The models we rent most often, for people, cargo, refrigerated goods and hospitality work. Every model in our 60+ vehicle range can be quoted for long term rental, so if the vehicle you need is not here, ask.

Who Rents Utility Golf Carts from Eco Planeta
Six types of operation make up most of our rental fleet. Each one runs different work, so each one gets a different mix of vehicles.
Resorts and hotels
Guest shuttles between lobby, rooms and beach, housekeeping and room service carts, food and beverage runs, grounds and security. Short term for the high season and events, long term for the fleet that runs every day.
Industrial sites and free zones
Moving people, tools and materials across large sites without diesel fumes or noise. Cargo boxes and flat beds with lifting boards for internal logistics, people movers for shift changes and site visits.
Hospitals and clinics
Quiet, zero emission transport of patients, staff, linen, meals and supplies across a campus. Enclosed cargo carts and ambulance builds are available on long term contracts.
Ports, airports and marinas
Crew and passenger transfers along quays and terminals, luggage and provisioning runs, security rounds. Lithium vehicles charge from an ordinary socket between shifts and run all day in salt air.
Events and peak season
Extra shuttles for a conference, a wedding or a tournament, and more housekeeping carts for the months your occupancy doubles. Delivered before the first guest arrives and collected when the last one leaves.
Gated communities and campuses
Security patrol, maintenance and landscaping crews, and resident or student shuttles across a private community, university or corporate campus, with digital keys on the 51.2V carts deciding who can drive which one.
Your Rental Fleet, Managed From Your Phone
Every rental vehicle comes with Eco Planeta IQ installed and the subscription included. From the iOS or Android app you see every vehicle on a live map, set geofences around the property, check battery voltage, trip history and odometer per unit, and issue and revoke digital keys on the 51.2V models.

Utility Golf Cart Rental FAQ
How long can we rent utility golf carts for?
Short term rentals cover anything from a few days for an event to a full season. Long term contracts typically run one to three years. If your need sits between the two, tell us the dates and we will quote the term that fits.
How much does it cost to rent a utility golf cart in the Dominican Republic?
The rate depends on the model, the number of vehicles, the length of the contract and the delivery distance, so there is no single list price. Long term contracts carry a lower monthly rate than short term rentals, and larger fleets are priced per unit. Tell us the work, the number of vehicles and the term and we will send a written quote quickly.
What does the rental include?
The vehicle with its lithium battery and charger, delivery and collection, preventive maintenance on your site, repairs from normal use, and Eco Planeta IQ hardware and subscription on every unit. Everything is set out on the quote.
How does maintenance work on a rental fleet?
Our technicians come to your site on a fixed schedule and work through the fleet: batteries, brakes, tires, lights, bolts and wiring. Faults found during a visit are repaired on the spot where the part allows, and because we hold the largest electric vehicle parts inventory in the country, it almost always does. You do not need a workshop, a mechanic or a parts shelf of your own.
What happens if a vehicle breaks down?
Call the store that delivered it and a mobile technician comes to the vehicle. Most repairs are completed the same day or the next because the part is in stock. IQ helps here too: charging history and battery voltage often show us the fault before the technician arrives.
What is Eco Planeta IQ and why is it on my rental?
Eco Planeta IQ is our fleet management platform, installed on every rental vehicle with the subscription included. Your fleet manager issues digital keys from the app so only authorised staff can start a vehicle, sees every unit on a live map, sets geofences that alert when a cart leaves the property, and reviews battery voltage, trip history and odometer per vehicle. It also lets us schedule maintenance on real usage instead of the calendar. One note: the digital key only works on 51.2V vehicles such as the ECO Cross, ECO Track and Denago carts. Live GPS, geofencing, battery monitoring and trip history also work on the 76.8V E-Bus and E-Cargo.
Can we rent for a single event or the high season?
Yes. Short term rental is exactly for that: extra shuttles for a conference or wedding, more housekeeping carts for December to April, or cover while your own vehicles are being serviced. Tell us the dates and the number of vehicles and we will confirm availability.
Do you deliver to our site?
Yes, anywhere in the Dominican Republic. We deliver from the closest of our five stores and collect at the end of the rental. Send the address, the dates and any access details, such as a gate or a loading area, and we confirm the arrangement with the quote.
Can we charge the vehicles on site?
Yes. The chargers run on ordinary site power and the lithium batteries can be topped up during breaks without shortening their life. We confirm the number of outlets you need before delivery and show your team the charging routine at handover.
Can you customise a rental vehicle for our operation?
For long term contracts, yes. Cargo beds, tool lockers, refrigerated boxes, custom seating, lighting and branded livery can all be built into the vehicle before delivery and priced into the monthly rate. Short term rentals come from the standard fleet.
Can we rent vehicles for more than one site?
Yes, and it is common with hotel groups and companies with operations in more than one province. Put every site on one request and we quote the fleet together, then deliver each vehicle from the nearest store and manage all of them in one IQ account.
How quickly can you deliver?
Standard models that we keep in stock, including the ECO Cross people movers, the E-Bus S11, the E-Cargo Box, the ECO Cross 2 Cargo L and the ECO Cross 2 Room Service, can usually be delivered at short notice. Other models and custom builds have a longer lead time, which we state on the quote.
Can we buy the vehicles at the end of the contract?
Yes. We sell the same models, and you can ask for a purchase quote at any point during the rental. Financing in US dollars is available through Banco Popular Dominicano.
Do you rent regular golf carts and other equipment as well?
Yes. Alongside utility vehicles we rent golf carts for guests and residents, forklifts, aerial platforms and cleaning equipment. If your site needs several types, put them on one request and we quote them together.
