Forklift Service in the Dominican Republic
A forklift that stops working stops the warehouse with it.
We work on your site. Scheduled services, breakdown calls, lithium battery checks and mast, brake and hydraulic repairs are carried out at your warehouse, plant, resort or free zone unit, so the machine does not have to be loaded on a truck to get a brake adjustment.
Behind the technicians sits a stock of the parts a forklift actually consumes: batteries and chargers, hydraulic seals and hoses, chains, forks, brake and steering components, wheels and the common electrical parts. That covers most maintenance and repair jobs directly, instead of waiting weeks on an imported part. When something is not on the shelf, you get a date with the quote rather than an open ended promise.
Buying rather than repairing? See the electric forklift range, the used forklifts we have checked and warrantied, or forklift rental if you need cover while your own machine is out of service.
Why Service Your Forklift with Eco Planeta
We sell, rent and service the same machines, so the workshop knows the equipment before it arrives.
Technicians who come to you
Scheduled services and repairs are carried out on your site by our mobile technicians. No transport to arrange, no machine sitting in a queue at a depot, and no lost day moving a forklift for a routine check.
The common parts on the shelf
Downtime costs more than the repair. We stock the parts that wear out and fail most often, so most maintenance and repair jobs are handled directly instead of waiting on an import.
Five stores, one country
Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo. Wherever your operation sits, a technician and a parts counter are within reach.
Lithium and battery expertise
Lithium is what we sell every day. We check cell balance, charger health and the battery management system as part of every service, which is where a lot of electric forklift faults actually start.
Fast diagnostics
Noblelift machines run Curtis controllers with CAN bus communication, so fault codes are read directly rather than guessed at. That turns a long diagnosis into a short one.
Warranty handled here
New machines carry a one year warranty and a five year warranty on the lithium battery. Warranty work goes through our own workshop, so there is no third party to chase.
How a Service Job Works
From your first message to a forklift back in production.
- 1
Tell us what it needs
Send us the make, model and serial number, the hours on the meter and a short description of the problem. Photos or a fault code from the display help. For a service plan, tell us how many machines you run and where they are.
- 2
We quote the work
You get a price for labour and for any parts involved, plus a realistic date. Because we stock the parts that go wrong most often, most jobs do not wait on a shipment.
- 3
We service on your site
A technician comes to your warehouse, plant or resort with the parts the job needs. For work that cannot be done in the aisle, such as a mast strip, we take the machine into a workshop and bring it back.
Service Plans and One-off Repairs
You can call us when something breaks, or you can put the machine on a plan and stop being surprised. Both are available for single forklifts and for fleets.
Scheduled maintenance plan
A fixed schedule of visits with a fixed price per machine, so maintenance sits in your operating budget instead of arriving as a series of emergencies. We set the interval from the hour meter rather than the calendar, because a forklift running two shifts needs attention roughly twice as often as one running a few hours a day. Parts and repairs found during a visit are quoted separately, so you always approve the cost before we start.
One-off service
A single scheduled service with no commitment, useful before a peak season, after a busy quarter or ahead of an internal audit. You get the same checklist and the same report.
Breakdown repair
Something has stopped and production is waiting. Call us with the model and the fault, and we come out with the parts the symptom points to.
Fleet agreements
For operations running several machines we quote per fleet, with all units on one schedule and one report. If a machine has to come off the floor for a longer repair, ask us and we will check whether a rental forklift is available to cover the gap.
Plan pricing depends on the number of machines, their capacity, the hours they run and where they are. Send us the fleet list and we will put a figure against it.
Repairs We Carry Out
Beyond scheduled work, these are the jobs that come through most often.
Electrical and control
Controller diagnosis and replacement, wiring and connector faults, contactors, display and instrument faults, drive and pump motor repair, sensor and switch replacement.
Battery and charging
Lithium battery diagnosis, cell balancing, battery management system faults, charger repair and replacement, and site charging setup. For lead acid machines we also handle watering routines, terminal corrosion and battery replacement.
Hydraulics
Lift and tilt ram reseals, pump and valve faults, hose replacement, leak tracing and hydraulic oil service.
Mast, forks and carriage
Chain replacement and adjustment, roller and channel wear, side-shift and fork positioner repair, fork inspection and replacement. Worn forks are a safety issue rather than a cosmetic one, so they are measured at every service.
Brakes, steering and tires
Brake overhaul, parking brake adjustment, steer axle repair, bearing replacement and tire changes on cushion and pneumatic machines.

Equipment and Brands We Service
Our workshop specialises in electric material handling equipment. We are the Noblelift dealer for the Dominican Republic, so every Noblelift model we sell is fully supported here, from the 1,600 kg counterbalanced machines up to the 8,000 kg range.
We service Noblelift forklifts only. Keeping the work to the range we sell is what lets us stock the right parts, train the technicians on every model and finish most jobs on the first visit. If you run a forklift from another brand, we cannot take it on, but we can quote a Noblelift machine to replace it.
Alongside forklifts our technicians maintain the rest of our range: reach trucks, electric stackers, electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, aerial work platforms, telehandlers and cleaning equipment. If you run several types on one site, put them on one request and we will schedule them together.
Other Equipment We Service
One technician, one visit, one report. These ranges are covered by the same team and the same parts warehouse.

Reach Trucks
Mast, battery and hydraulic service for narrow aisle machines, including the electrics that a taller mast puts under more load.

Electric Stackers and Pallet Jacks
The machines that do the most cycles per day and therefore need the most consistent attention. Serviced on site with the rest of your fleet.

Aerial Work Platforms
Scissor lifts, boom lifts and telehandlers, with the function and safety checks that working at height demands.

Cleaning Equipment
Floor scrubbers and street sweepers, serviced by the same technicians on the same visit as your material handling fleet.
Visit Our Stores
Eco Planeta has stores in Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo. Every location sells, rents and services material handling equipment, and all of them are supplied from the same central parts warehouse.

Forklift Maintenance FAQ
Do you service forklifts from other brands?
No. We service Noblelift forklifts only. That is what lets us keep every wear part in stock and every technician trained on the models they work on. If you have a forklift from another brand and want to replace it, we can quote one from the range.
Do you come to us, or do we bring the forklift to you?
We come to you. Scheduled services and most repairs are carried out on your site by our mobile technicians. Work that genuinely cannot be done in the aisle, such as a full mast strip, is taken into a workshop and the machine is returned when it is finished.
How often should an electric forklift be serviced?
Set the interval from the hour meter rather than the calendar. A machine running a few hours a day needs far less frequent attention than one running two shifts, even though a year passes for both. Tell us the hours your machines actually run and we will propose a schedule that matches them.
What does a forklift service plan cost?
It depends on how many machines you run, their capacity, the hours on them and where they are located, so there is no single list price. Send us the fleet list with the models and locations and we will come back with a fixed price per machine.
How fast can you repair a forklift?
It depends on the part. We stock the components that wear out and fail most often, so most repairs are handled directly. If a part has to be ordered from a supplier, the expected date is on the quote before you approve it.
Do you service the lithium battery and the charger?
Yes. Battery state of health, cell balance, the battery management system, the charger and the charging cables are part of every scheduled service. A large share of electric forklift faults start in the charging system rather than the machine, so it is checked as standard.
Do you work on lead acid and internal combustion forklifts?
Lead acid electric machines, yes, including watering routines, terminal corrosion and battery replacement. For internal combustion machines, ask us with the make and model and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right workshop for it.
Can we rent a forklift while ours is being repaired?
Ask us when you report the fault. We run our own rental fleet, so if a machine of the right capacity is free we will quote it alongside the repair and deliver it to your site.
Do you supply the parts as well as the labour?
Yes, from our own central warehouse. You can also buy parts on their own and fit them yourself. See forklift spare parts for what we stock.
Which areas do you cover?
The whole of the Dominican Republic. We have stores in Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo, and our mobile technicians work from all of them, covering Santo Domingo, Santiago, Punta Cana, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Higüey, Bayahibe and Puerto Plata.
