Crown Forklift Alternative
When it comes to electric forklifts, the Noblelift FE4P30Q and the Crown CB35X-7 are two standout options for businesses in the Dominican Republic looking for efficiency, reliability and up to date technology. Both models are built to handle heavy duty operations while reducing environmental impact. In this post we compare these two electric workhorses to help you decide which one fits your business best.
The Noblelift Costs Significantly Less to Buy Than the Crown
The main difference between the Noblelift and the Crown is purchase cost, with the Noblelift considerably cheaper. On the rest of the specifications the two models are much closer, although on the mast most figures are equal or slightly better on the Noblelift.
| Specification | Noblelift FE4P30Q | Crown CB35X-7 |
|---|---|---|
| Price | USD$26,686 | 15% to 30% more expensive |
| Power source | Lithium battery | Lithium battery |
| Capacity | 3000 KG | 3175 KG |
| Mast height | up to 7579 mm | up to 6905 mm |
| Warranty | one year (extended available) | one year |
Purchase Price
The Noblelift FE4P30Q has a lower purchase price than the Crown CB35X-7. The Crown can run 15% to 30% more expensive, especially once you add options beyond the standard model.
Load Capacity and Lift Height
The Crown CB35X-7 has slightly more load capacity than the Noblelift FE4P30Q (3175 kg against 3000 kg). The mast on the Noblelift FE4P30Q is taller than the one on the Crown CB35X-7, though (7579 mm against 6905 mm). Keep in mind that in both cases you will need the taller mast version, which carries extra cost.
Energy Efficiency and Power Source
Both forklifts are electric and run lithium batteries, which makes them far cheaper to operate than gasoline, diesel or LPG forklifts. The Noblelift FE4P30Q is likely a little more efficient in operation than the Crown CB35X-7, because the Noblelift has a lower operating weight (4070 kg) than the Crown CB35X-7 (5486 kg).
Maintenance Requirements and Reliability
Both forklifts are lithium powered, so both avoid the maintenance load of a combustion engine: no oil changes, no filters, no exhaust system. Servicing is largely limited to the hydraulics, the mast and the tyres on either machine.
Ergonomics and Operator Comfort
Both forklifts offer excellent ergonomics. On both, the instrument panel is easy to reach and easy to use, and the seats on both models are comfortable. Which forklift is better on ergonomics comes down to personal preference. We recommend a test drive to find the forklift that best suits your own ergonomic preferences.
Conclusion
The Crown CB35X-7 has slightly more load capacity. The Noblelift FE4P30Q, however, is cheaper to buy, has a taller mast and a lower operating weight, which makes it somewhat more energy efficient.
