Do you deliver rental forklifts in Punta Cana?
Yes. We deliver to your site from our Cap Cana store on Boulevard Fishing Lodge, minutes from most of the resort corridor, and collect the machine at the end of the rental. Send us the delivery address, your dates and any access restrictions, such as gate height or a loading dock, and we will confirm the arrangement with the quote.
How much does it cost to rent a forklift in Punta Cana?
The rate depends on the capacity, the mast height, the length of the rental and the delivery distance, so there is no single list price. Tell us what you need to lift, how high and for how long, and we will send a written quote quickly.
How long can I rent a forklift for?
From a couple of weeks for a project up to multi year contracts. Short term suits refits, seasonal peaks and cover for a machine that is out of service. Long term suits an operation that needs the capacity permanently but prefers not to buy.
What is included in the rental?
The forklift, its lithium battery and charger, and scheduled maintenance carried out by our technicians on your site. Operators are not included, and the site provides the power for charging. Anything else is set out on the quote so there are no surprises.
Which capacity forklift do I need?
Take the heaviest load you handle, add the weight of the pallet or attachment, and allow for the load centre: loads that sit further out from the fork face reduce the rated capacity. Send us the load, the lift height and the aisle width and we will specify the machine for you.
Can I charge a rental forklift at my site?
Yes. The chargers run off normal site power, and because the batteries are lithium they can be topped up during breaks without shortening battery life. We confirm the supply your site needs before delivery, so nothing is a surprise on the day.
What happens if the machine breaks down?
Call us and our mobile technicians come to the machine. Because we hold the largest material handling parts inventory in the country, most repairs are completed without waiting on an imported part.
Can I buy the forklift instead of renting?
Yes. We sell the same Noblelift machines with a one year warranty and a five year warranty on the lithium battery, and financing is available in US dollars through Banco Popular Dominicano over 6, 12 or 24 months with a 15% downpayment. Ask us for a purchase quote at any point during a rental.
Do you rent equipment other than forklifts?
Yes. Alongside counterbalanced forklifts we handle reach trucks, electric stackers, electric pallet jacks, aerial work platforms and cleaning equipment. If you need several types on one site, put them on one request and we will quote them together.
Do you rent forklifts to hotels and resorts in Punta Cana?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do here. Hotel groups including Bahia Principe, Grand Palladium, Melia and Hard Rock work with us in the Dominican Republic. Electric machines are the practical choice for receiving bays and back of house areas because they produce no exhaust fumes and very little noise.
Can you deliver a rental forklift to a construction site in Punta Cana?
Yes, provided the working surface is hard and reasonably even, such as concrete or compacted asphalt. Electric counterbalanced forklifts are not built for rough or unpaved terrain. If your site is not surfaced yet, a telehandler is the right machine and we can quote that instead.
