Clark Forklift Alternative

Clark forklifts are popular in the Dominican Republic, both to buy and to rent. But we would argue that the Noblelift forklifts offered by Eco Planeta deliver far better value at a lower price.

This article compares the Clark LEP 30 with the Noblelift FE4P30Q, both lithium battery forklifts.

Feature Overview

Price

The purchase price gap between the Noblelift FE4P30Q and the Clark LEP 30 is large. The Noblelift costs $26,686 excluding ITBIS. The Clark can cost a staggering 60% more, at least. That makes choosing the Noblelift easy.

Operating Costs

As noted above, both forklifts run on lithium batteries and therefore need no maintenance, or very little. When parts do need replacing, however, Noblelift parts cost less than Clark parts. That makes Noblelift the more attractive option on operating costs.

Battery Characteristics

Both forklifts are lithium. That means they charge far faster than electric forklifts with lead acid batteries and need no maintenance, which lowers operating costs.

The Noblelift does carry a higher battery capacity and voltage (400 Ah / 80 V) than the Clark (375 Ah / 48 V). That means the Noblelift can run longer than the Clark, an important difference if you run long shifts.

Load Capacity

Both the Noblelift FE4P30Q and the Clark LEP 30 have a 3000 KG load capacity. On this point the two forklifts are equal.

Mast Characteristics

If you have a tall warehouse, you need a forklift with an extended mast. Both Noblelift and Clark offer tall mast options. The Clark reaches a lift height of 6019 mm, while the Noblelift reaches 7579 mm with the extended mast option. If height matters for your use case, Noblelift is your better option.

Conclusion

If you need a forklift that handles 3000 KG and you are choosing between the Noblelift FE4P30Q and the Clark LEP 30, the Noblelift is the better choice. It costs far less, carries a bigger battery and offers taller mast options.
