What Class 2 Means

Class 2 in the OSHA and ITA classification is electric motor narrow aisle trucks. Instead of a counterweight at the back, these machines put straddle legs under the load, which cuts the floor space they need to turn and lift.

The payoff is aisle width. A narrow aisle machine works in roughly half the aisle a Class 1 counterbalanced forklift needs, so the same building holds noticeably more racking. The trade off is that straddle legs cannot drive onto a trailer floor, so most operations keep a counterbalanced machine for truck loading.

Reach Trucks and Order Pickers to Order

Taller racking needs a reach truck, and piece picking from height needs an order picker. Neither is held in standing stock: both are specified against your beam heights and aisle widths, then ordered from Noblelift.

Send us the aisle width, the top beam height and the pallet weight and we will confirm which machine fits, what it costs and how long it takes to arrive.

Why Buy Your Forklift at Eco Planeta?

We have sold, rented and serviced electric material handling equipment in the Dominican Republic since 2011. That means the machine and the support behind it come from the same place.

Lithium as standard

Every Noblelift machine we sell runs on lithium. Opportunity charging during breaks, no watering, no battery room, and no acid handling. A lead acid fleet needs a swap bay and a maintenance routine. A lithium fleet needs a socket.

Five stores, one country

Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo. Wherever your warehouse, hotel or plant sits, a technician and a parts counter are within reach.

The biggest parts inventory in the country

Downtime costs more than the repair. We hold the largest stock of electric vehicle and material handling parts in the Dominican Republic, so most jobs are done without waiting on an import.

Technicians who come to you

Our mobile technicians service forklifts on site. No loading a machine on a truck to get a brake adjustment or a scheduled service done.

Warranty backed by Noblelift

Machines carry a one year warranty and the lithium battery is covered for five years. Noblelift is one of the largest material handling manufacturers in the world and a publicly listed company.

Financing in US dollars

Spread the purchase over 6, 12 or 24 months through Banco Popular Dominicano with a 15% downpayment. Quotes are prepared by us and submitted to the bank on your behalf.

Class 2 Forklift FAQ

What machines count as Class 2?

Reach trucks, order pickers, turret trucks and narrow aisle stackers. All are electric, all use straddle legs or a similar arrangement instead of a rear counterweight.

How much racking do I gain?

It depends on your building, but halving the working aisle typically converts a meaningful share of floor space from aisle into pallet positions. We can run the numbers against your layout before you buy.

Can a Class 2 machine load trucks?

No. Straddle legs prevent it from driving onto a trailer floor. Keep a Class 1 counterbalanced forklift for loading and unloading.

Which Class 2 machines do you keep in stock?

The Noblelift PS20N electric stacker is stocked. Reach trucks and order pickers are ordered against your specification.

Can Class 2 equipment be financed?

Yes, on the same terms as the rest of our range: 6, 12 or 24 months in US dollars through Banco Popular Dominicano with a 15% downpayment.
