Parts for Tuqai E-Bikes Only
We import Tuqai e-bikes for the Dominican Republic, so every part for the Tuqai Uno and Tuqai Dos comes from the manufacturer through us. The wear parts are stocked here; the rest is ordered from the factory rather than from an intermediary. Tell us which model you have and, if you know it, when you bought it, and we confirm the exact part before anything ships.
We supply parts for Tuqai e-bikes only. Every part we stock is matched to the Uno or the Dos, from the tires and pads through to the battery, controller and display, so what you order is what fits. We do not sell parts for other brands, not even the tires and tubes that look interchangeable, because a near miss on a bike that does 30 km/h is worse than no part at all. For another make, the manufacturer's dealer is the right place to ask.
When a repair no longer makes sense, we sell both models new across the e-bike range, and we rent the same bikes from five stores in the meantime.
How to Order a Part
The better we can identify the part, the faster it reaches you.

Tell us which bike
Tuqai Uno or Tuqai Dos, and roughly when it was bought. If you are not sure which model you have, a photo of the whole bike is enough for us to tell.

Show us the part or describe the fault
A photo of the old part is ideal. If you cannot get to it, describe what the bike is doing: will not charge, no power to the display, flat tire, chain slipping, brakes rubbing. We work out the part from the symptom.

We quote from stock
You get a price and an availability date. Parts on the shelf ship the same or the next working day. Parts from the factory get an honest date, not an optimistic one.

Collect, delivered or fitted
Pick it up at any of our five stores, have it shipped to your door or your hotel, or book a technician to fit it. Electrical parts are worth having fitted, because a bad connection can damage the controller.

E-Bike Spare Parts FAQ
Which tires and tubes fit a Tuqai e-bike?
Both Tuqai models run 20 inch fat tires, and we stock the matching tires and tubes. Tell us which model you have and we send the right size; there is nothing to measure.
How do I know I need a new battery, and what does one cost?
You probably need one if the bike charges to full but the range has dropped to a fraction of the 50 km it started with, or the display shows a full charge that collapses as soon as you pull away. Price depends on the model, so ask for a quote. Before you order, let us test the charger: a charger putting out low voltage produces the same symptom for a fraction of the cost.
Can I use a cheaper battery or charger from the internet?
We would not. A pack built for a different bike can fit the mount and still have the wrong voltage, the wrong connector or a battery management system that does not talk to the controller. The failure mode for lithium is fire, and the warranty ends the moment a non-original pack goes on. Chargers are the same story at lower stakes: the wrong voltage cooks a good battery.
What do you need from me to identify the right part?
The model, roughly when you bought it, and a photo of the old part. For electrical parts, add a photo of the connector and of the label on the part, because a controller or a display can look identical to one with a different rating.
Do you sell parts on their own, without fitting?
Yes. Everything on the list can be bought over the counter or shipped to you. Fitting is optional and priced separately, and for batteries, controllers and displays we recommend it.
Do you supply parts for e-bikes from other brands?
No. We stock parts for the Tuqai Uno and Tuqai Dos only. Every part we sell is matched to those two bikes, which is what lets us confirm the fit before it ships. For another brand, ask that manufacturer's dealer.
Do the parts carry a warranty?
Genuine Tuqai parts carry the manufacturer's defect warranty. Tires, tubes, pads and chains are consumables and are not covered against normal wear. If a part we fitted fails, bring the bike back to the store and we look at it.
How fast can I get a part?
For stocked parts, the same or the next working day, because they are already in the warehouse. For anything that has to come from the factory, the date is on the quote before you pay, not after.
Do you ship parts across the country?
Yes, from the central warehouse to anywhere in the Dominican Republic, including hotels and gated communities. Or collect at Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo.
Can you fit the part for me?
Yes. Drop the bike at a store that stocks e-bikes, or for a fleet, have the technician come to you with the parts. See e-bike maintenance for how a service works.
